food4paulrus is a Pittsburgh food guide run by Paul. We collect as little as we can. We don't sell your personal information or share it for advertising, and we don't run ads.
Analytics (only if you say OK)
If you click OK on our banner, we use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages and restaurants people look at. This sets a few first-party cookies (_ga, _ga_*) and sends Google things like the page you viewed, your browser and device type, the site that referred you, and an approximate location (city level) derived from your IP address. Google Analytics 4 does not store full IP addresses.
We have turned off Google signals and ad personalization, so this data is not used to show you ads. If you click No thanks, or haven't chosen yet, Google Analytics doesn't load and no analytics cookies are set.
You can change your mind any time with (also in the footer). If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a "no" automatically.

The contact form
If you use "Work with Paul," we receive your name, email address, and message. The form is delivered by Web3Forms, which forwards it to Paul's email. We only use it to reply to you, and we don't add you to a mailing list.
Services that load on our pages
Like most websites, our pages load a few things from other providers. Your browser connects to them directly, so they receive your IP address and basic browser info as part of the request:
- Google Fonts — the site's typefaces.
- unpkg — the Leaflet map library.
- Esri (ArcGIS) — the map tiles on the home and Eats pages.
Links to Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Google Maps take you to those sites, where their own privacy policies apply.
Your choices
- Turn analytics on or off any time with Cookie settings.
- Clearing your browser's cookies and site data also resets your choice.

Kids
This site isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information.
